Hi, friends! I hope you all had an absolutely splendid Thanksgiving and are now happily working your way through leftovers. (We have a bunch of great Thanksgiving leftovers recipes on Simply Recipes. Head on over to the site to check them out!) Onwards with the holiday festivities! I love how we get so many little celebrations sprinkled throughout December in the form of special brunches with family, open-house holiday parties on the weekends, and office parties -- not to mention all the spontaneous gatherings with friends that always spring up. If you're hosting a gathering this year, I highly recommend making our Herb-Spiced Mixed Nuts. So buttery and crunchy and good. For those of you celebrating Hanukkah (or if you're just in need of a good cookie!), definitely make a batch of our Chocolate Cranberry Rugelach.
