NEW RECIPES! Green Cauliflower Rice, Shaved Spring Vegetable Salad, Carrot Cake Pancakes, and MORE!

Latest recipes from Simply Recipes.

Hello, everybody!

I will say this for this whole shelter-in-place, lock-down situation: it has inspired some pretty interesting meals! I've been reaching deep into my cupboards the past few weeks, both to take stock of what the heck is actually back there and also to find fresh ways to doctor up yet another can of beans or pot of pasta.

My favorite by far has been the can of fried onions from last Thanksgiving, which I sprinkled with abandon over bowls of Thai curry noodles and shrimp. So crunchy! So salty! So delightful! I might make it a permanent addition to my recipe.

As the weeks wear on and as we grow tired of all our same-old pantry meals, we're all going to have to find ways to get extra creative in the kitchen. Pull out those spice mixes! Time to use that tiny jar of truffle sauce you bought on vacation! What could you do with that tomato jam you've been saving?

We'd love to hear about how you're getting creative these days! Snap a photo and tag us on Instagram (@simplyrecipes) and we'll share it with everyone!
