It's Pi Day! Let's Bake a Pie!

If you're a real pie fan (and perhaps a math nerd to boot), you may know that today, 3/14, has become a fun holiday of sorts. And couldn't we all use a fun holiday right about now? Pi Day is a chance to celebrate all things pie, so this weekend let's bake a pie together, shall we? You could start strong with a Lemon Meringue Pie or perhaps you're in more of a Chocolate Cream Pie kinda' mood? Maybe you're into pie that can travel, in which case these Cherry Hand Pies (use store bought puff pastry and frozen cherries for a quick dessert!) are a good bet. If you're thinking that you still haven't conquered homemade pie crust, never fear! Try our No Fail Sour Cream Pie Crust (or for you traditionalists out there, you can never go wrong with an all butter crust). Baking takes our mind off of things, and pie makes people happy.
