This recipe was inspired by the staple appetizer at P.F. Chang's restaurant. To do our best to replicate it at home, we flavored ground chicken with hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, Sriracha, and sesame oil. Water chestnuts are used often in stir fries and add a nice crunch here. Grown throughout Southeast Asia, Thai basil is - no surprise here - used quite predominantly in Thailand, as well as in Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan, and Cambodia. It's a bit sweeter than traditional basil, with a more pronounced floral note, and a slight licorice-y bite. Olive Garden is one of the most popular Italian American restaurants in the country and, other than the salad, soup and breadsticks, we figure that that popularity is in large part driven by one dish and one dish alone: Fettuccine Alfredo.
